And then they met!

He worked on the 40th floor of a South Bombay corporate. He was practically indispensable to the bosses. It had taken him years to build this reputation of integrity and hard work. She, on the other hand, worked on her own. Her business took her from South Bombay to Thane. With kids and parents to take care of, they hardly got any time together at home. So they made sure to take the local train together every day.

He was waiting for her at the station when she called to say she would be late. She insisted that he go home but he sat there waiting for her. Finally, when she arrived they took the last train.

BOOOOMMM…. There was chaos everywhere. Both of them were thrown apart by the impact of the bomb blast. They started looking for each other frantically.

And then they met. In a different world though. But they were not distraught. Their responsibility as parents was taken care of. Both were peaceful and content. Knowing that their family will be compensated by the government.

And it would definitely be more than what an office-boy and a bangles-bindi hawker could earn in a lifetime.
